Lightning rod for Wind sensor cross arm

Lightning rod for mounting bracket of Pro 10 Sensor setWind sensors are very often mounted in extremely exposed locations, such as on the top of a 10m mast. In case of thunderstorms significant static potentials can start building up, potentially endangering the electronis of both sensors and RTUs. Therefore this lightning rod can be mounted  right onto the mounting bracket of the Pro 10 wind sensor set.

Please make sure that the mast of your weather station is well connected to ground, ideally by means of a separate grounding spike, connected to the weather station's pole by means of a solid copper cable.

Attention: a lightning rod cannot protect a weather station against the consequences of a direct lightning strike!
